Experience the essence of Victorian romance. "Thank you so much for your hospitality and warmth. Our stay here has been most delightful. You have created an atmosphere where people of many cultures, races and backgrounds could come together and enjoy one another's company." "Nobody, absolutely nobody, does hosting like the two of you. What a room, what a view, what warmth, what charm and what breakfasts. It gets no better than this."
Refresh, Renew, Rekindle (Angel of the Berwicks) “is the most outstanding example of its style in southern Maine and nowhere in the state does a more impressive Queen Anne—Eastlake residence exist.” "We had a wonderful 3 nights at your beautiful inn. What more could we want on holiday than a shining room, a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and the most hardy breakfast ever." "Thank you for sharing with us this beautifully restored manor, and for your generous hospitality. We'll remember everything, including our many morning chats along with your fabulous breakfasts." "Our family of four from New York City planned a nature get-away - visiting Acadia National Park. Given the long drive, we found the Angel of the Berwicks Inn to be the perfect half-way oasis - an most comfortable and relaxing haven. Angel’s innkeepers, Ben and Sally, welcomed us and provided information about the local area as well as lodging choices in the Acadia Park vicinity. Acadia exceeded our expectations as a nature get-away. We explored the park’s many beautiful vistas and experienced blueberry picking out of this world. As our trip came to a close, we knew we wanted a laid-back and pleasant return to New York, so we stopped for a few days at the Angel on our return. And now, we're planning a trip to go cross-country skiing in Maine, including Acadia National Park, and plan to use the Angel as our vacation base once again."
